I know the family “OSKARS”.
We have been many times in Kefalonia
and many times at Oskars restaurant.
Do not miss out Oskars.
Respect for the holiday makers, do not try to confuse the tourists about Oskars restaurant.
I also completely agree with the last comment Oskars Is by far the best complete package on the island, from the accommodation to the food and entertainment the family are there to make sure you have the holiday you’re looking for. Olive garden apartments are very nice apartments with a large swimming pool but the staff at the bar didn’t seem very helpful and advised not to go to oskars and to visit other restaurants. I would advise anyone who is visiting to try a night at oskars to see for themselves just how good oskars is. For me and my family Oskars really is the best in Lassi.
After reading the previous comments on here, i agree with many of them, especially from 2012 (ANNE & TREVOR NEWCASTLE.ENGLAND – July 22, 2012 comments).Oskars is a fantastic family business providing accommodation, food, drinks and entertainment..everyone should visit them!
It was my first visit to kefalonia and i had a lovely 2 weeks of holidays…if you ever go to kefalonia make sure you are going to visit oskars…. the greek night is really nice and the food is lovely…
If you go to Kefalonia, you must visit Myrtos. The view from the main Fiskardo road is amazing. The winding road down to the beach looks daunting, with numerous hairpin bends, but its worth it. One of the highlights of an unforgettable holiday. The water is so clear and the beach was deserted last week. Superb. Also you have to try Oskars restaurant for great food…
We stayed in Lassi at Oskars Studios for a week, hired a car and visited Myrtos beach as it was reccommneded to us by the owners at our apartments.
What a fantastic bay!
The views on the way to the bay are breathtaking and once you arrive at the beach there is more fantastic scenery.
The water is perfectly clear and beatiful colours.
We have visted most of the greek islands and rate this bay as one of the best (the other being Antisamos also in Kefalonia).
A must visit if you go to Kefallonia!
We had a wonderful time staying at Oskars Studios, we stayed in the second floor which was exactly what we were looking for. Relaxation and sun with a mixture of good wine, food and nice people. Top 3 of all places we have visited so far, around the world. Lourdas beach is amazing and so is ofcourse, Myrtos (Do not miss to do a daytrip to this amazing beach). Thanks Roza, keep the good work up, we’ll meet again. Hopefully this summer.
Oskars restaurant is the best restaurant we used. Food excellent, service first class, sea views as well. We also had breakfast there several times. The price was favourable too. Always lots of customer too.
We also saw Myrtos Beach from the road the day before. It really is picture postcard stuff.
We’d been told it gets busy so we got up early the next day and went for a swim before breakfast.
Absolutely sublime. I have swam and dived in quite a few places around the world but I’ve never seen the colour of water like this – just beautiful.
It’s very stony getting into the water so take some sandals or ‘wettie’ shoes if you have them. We were there in early May and the water was warm enough to stay in for a good half hour.
Go early and enjoy!
Kefalonia is the best place i have ever been to. i have been to kefalonia 4 times with my family. our advice to the other holiday makers is go to kefalonia for the best holiday you can ever imagine. go to antonio beach, platis gialos beach, gradakia beach and makris gialos. they are all really good but, gradakia is the best. the best place to visit for souvenirs and photographs is to take a walk to the scenic coastal fanari road. you will see the light house, the water wheel, the geological phenomenon at katavothres. dont miss this road to see the beautiful sunset from oskars balconies. oskars has the best food, value, atmoshere and the family are just lovely. the staff are so friendly they make you feel so welcome!!
We’re just back from an amazing two weeks in Kefalonia and whilst we were there my partner and I got engaged…we took the ferry across to Lixouri and then he drove us over to the west side of the peninsula, to a little place called Kapouria, and we had a picnic on the cliff at sunset – very romantic!!
