We visited Kefalonia for the first time and am here a week with one week left. We were walking on Lassi road when a advertising lady gave me a full map of Lassi beaches and Fanari road and i decide to walk with my wife at 10am to see the lighthouse, waterwheel geological phenomenon, and Italian memorial. On the way we became thirsty and stopped at Oskars one for a beer and there we met the old man oskar who is very friendly and a comedian he made us laugh. Time went very quickly and realizing this we decided to stay for lunch, oriental mousaka and beef stifado was brilliant and finally we didn’t do the sightseeing. No problem we had a very nice time. Old man Oskar reminds me of Antonio Banderas. He recommended to visit Oskars 2(3 brothers) which his sons own for the first season, we visited, my wife ate stuffed peppers, I had mezies Greek selection, Main course lamb kleftico ala oscars and lamb village style. Thank you the old man for recommending us, I also ask him why Thomson tour operator did not recommend. He told us that the last 11 yrs they have argued because of money, for sure not even the tourists should miss Oskars because he won’t pay commission. The next day I used the full guide map of lassi and what I read on the map I visited all the sites in fanari road and we took with my wife very nice and unforgettable souvenir photographs, no tourists from Uk should not miss what I have written about.
